Japanese Onigiri Rice Ball

- Put some plum paste into the rice and use some tororo kombu for the cover of the onigiri rice ball.
- Simply mix the onigiri rice ball with dashi powder and plum paste.
Match Well With Various Seasonings

-Dashi-
The strong saltiness is considerably suppressed, giving it a savory taste. It is recommended for Japanese mixed rice.
-Sesame Oil- You can mix the ume plum paste and sesame oil with cucumber and it becomes a delicious Chinese style side dish.
-Mayonnaise- It goes well with veggie dips.
Love the taste! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Best umeboshi I have ever tasted sort of melts in your mouth!
My family was very happy. I'm glad I bought it.
Everyone has their favorite umeboshi. Mine are homemade by my neighbor in Nagoya, so they're not exactly available here in the US. These come as close to any of the many types I've tried to purchase from Amazon. They are a balance of salty and sour, and just a tiny bit sweet to take the edge off. I only wish they would come packed with more shiso.
My Japanese wife says these are the best.
This was the most delicious umeboshi I have had. It was delivered fast and packaged well.
