Natto Powder – Superfood from Japan
Experience the essence of traditional Japanese health and flavor
What is Natto?
Natto is a traditional Japanese food made by fermenting steamed soybeans with Bacillus subtilis. Known for its strong aroma, sticky texture, and potent health benefits, natto is a staple in many Japanese households.
Natto Powder
Natto powder is made by fermenting soybeans, then carefully dehydrating and grinding them into a fine powder. It captures the rich nutrition and umami flavor of natto in a convenient form.
What is Hikiwari Natto?
Hikiwari Natto is finely chopped fermented soybeans that contain 1.5x more Vitamin K than whole-bean natto. By fermenting after chopping, it enhances the nutritional content and provides a smoother texture.

Yummy (if you like natto). Great added to soup, stew, meat, veggies. . . . I put it in the shaker and sprinkle a little on my food.
Heard about this on NHK World Japan and about the health benefits so I figured why not give it a try.I use it in soups and mix it in real good.
Not for everyone but it’s all about the health benefits!
This product is similar to the last natto product I bought except the packaging is larger, but it tastes the same. The best way to use this product is to put it in my yogurt. I will continue to buy more.
So hubby has been into Japanese foods lately so I purchased some Natto to vary/supplement his diet a bit.The flavor is like a bitter bean powder. Hubby didn't care for it and the flavor was definitely strong to me.I take a lot of prebiotic so I didn't notice a huge difference and hubby didn't continue eating it. I have added it to garnish a recipe with a light dusting or sprinkle. In my opinion it's not bad but if fermented foods aren't a staple in your diet the flavor may be a bit strong for you.
