Hojicha Rice Porridge

 

Ingredients(2 servings)

Rice (washed) 1/2 cup
Hojicha (roasted green tea) 600 cc
Dashi stock to taste

How to make

1 Place the rice and hojicha in a pot and heat over medium heat.
2 Once it comes to a boil, cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. If the liquid reduces too much, gradually add more hojicha.
3 Cook until the desired consistency is reached.
      For extra flavor, you can add salt or dashi to taste.

This recipe is easy to digest and gentle on the stomach.
