Hojicha Soup with Hearty Mushroom and Meatballs

Ingredients(2-3 servings)

Hojicha 500 ml
Assorted mushrooms a few kinds, as desired
Green onions to taste
Chicken meatballs as much as you want
Eggs 2
Umami Dashi Stock 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp

How to Make

1 Place the cut mushrooms, dashi, and hojicha in a pot and simmer.Carefully remove any scum that rises to the surface.

2Add the remaining ingredients and cook through, adjusting the flavor by adding seasonings and extra water as needed.

3 Finally, slowly pour in the beaten eggs, and it’s ready to serve!
