Turnip Pickles in Sushi Vinegar with Umeboshi Furikake

Ingredients(2 servings)

Umeboshi Furikake To taste
Turnip 3~3 1/2(About 320 g)
Sushi Vinegar 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp

How to make

1 Peel the turnip and cut it into 3–5 mm slices.
2 Place the slices in a plastic food bag with salt and sugar. Rub well and leave for 15 minutes.
3 Rub the turnip again, drain in a colander, and return it to the bag.
4 Add sushi vinegar, rub well again, and leave for another 15 minutes.
5 Place in a bowl and sprinkle with umeboshi furikake before serving.

Sesame umeboshi furikake with the refreshing tang of ume and the rich umami of sesame.
It’s a perfect seasoning for light and healthy dishes.
