Rice Gratin with Natto Koji

Ingredients (2servings)

Rice 150 g
Onion 80 g
Shimeji Mushrooms 45 g
Ham 50 g
Spinach 45 g
Sliced Cheese 30 g
Milk 65 mL
White Sauce 65 g
Natto Koji 1 tbsp

How to Make

1 Stir-fry vegetables and ham.
2 Add milk and water to the white sauce and mix.
3 Add a little water to natto koji to soften
4 Place rice in a heat proof bowl, natto koji, stir-fried vegetables and ham on top, then top with white sauce and cheese.
5 Bake at 180°C(356℉) for 10 minutes and ready!

2 This recipe uses natto, a traditional Japanese fermented food, and rice koji.
