What Makes Red Miso Different?
One Powder. Endless Possibilities.
Miso-Glazed Cod
Japanese fine dining–inspired. Mix with mirin & sake, marinate overnight, broil to perfection.
Red Miso Steak Rub
Dry rub onto steaks before grilling. The powder caramelizes into an incredible umami-filled crust.
Rich Miso Stew
Add ½ tsp to any stew or braise near the end of cooking. Deepen the entire flavor profile.
Red Miso Ramen Broth
The bold alternative to standard miso ramen. Add 1–2 tsp to broth for a restaurant-grade bowl.
DISCOVER THIS VERSATILE JAPANESE SEASONING
Unlike instant miso soup packets, this is pure freeze-dried red miso—a concentrated seasoning with rich umami. Start with a small pinch (¼–½ tsp), taste, and adjust. Using a little at a time is the best way to build flavor, just as many chefs do.
- For glaze: mix 1 tsp with 1 tbsp mirin + 1 tbsp sake
- For dry rub: use ½ tsp per steak, press in firmly
- For soup: ½ tsp per cup (stronger than regular miso)
- For stew: add ¼ tsp in the last 5 min of cooking
