Pie Florentin with Red Miso Powder

Ingredients(12~16 pieces)

Frozen puff pastry 1 sheet
Butter 20 g
Sliced almonds 50 g
【A】
Granulated sugar 15 g
Milk 15 g
Honey 20 g
Red miso powder 1 tbsp

How to Make

1 Preheat oven to 220°C(428°F).
2 Prick the puff pastry and bake for 15–18 min; While still hot, carefully flatten the pastry.
3 Turn down the oven to 180°C (356°F).
4 Melt butter in a pot, add 【A】, and simmer until bubbly and thick.
5 Stir in sliced almonds and cook until slightly sticky.
6 Spread over the pastry and bake for 10–15 min.
7 Cool completely and cut.

Easy to make with store-bought puff pastry sheets.
A fragrant, richly flavored Florentine enhanced by the deep umami of red miso powder.
